Your first visit, step by step
- Book. Request a time online or call 845-336-5855. We confirm by phone or email.
- Prepare. Fill in the patient forms and check the first appointment checklist: your insurance card, ID and a list of medicines.
- Your visit. Dr. Sayeed examines your teeth and gums, takes digital X-rays if they’re needed, and listens to any worries.
- Your plan. You leave knowing what he found, what your options are and what your plan covers.
A calm, unhurried first visit
Your first appointment is longer than a routine checkup, so there’s time to talk. The front desk checks you in and confirms your insurance, then Dr. Sayeed asks about your dental history and anything that worries you before he looks.
If it’s been years since your last visit, or you feel nervous, say so when you book. Nobody is lectured about the past.

Are you accepting new patients?

Who do you see?
Mainly adults and teens aged 15 and over. For a younger child, call us and we’ll help you decide whether to see us or a children’s dentist.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your dental insurance card, photo ID, a list of the medicines you take, and any recent X-rays from another dentist.
Do you work by appointment only?
Yes. Kingston Smiles NY sees patients by appointment, including for emergencies.
